Recognized for dedicated capacity to grow

Grand River Aseptic Manufacturing (GRAM) was named one of the Michigan 50 Companies to Watch by Michigan Celebrates Small Business. GRAM will receive the award at the 11th Annual Michigan Celebrates Small Business Awards Program in Lansing on May 7.

The criteria for the award includes: being privately held, experiencing growth, employing 6‐99 full‐time employees, having between $750,000 and $50 million in annual revenue or working capital, and demonstrating the intent and capacity to grow.

Tom Ross, president and chief executive officer of GRAM, said, “In early 2013, GRAM had 25 employees and today we have over 70 highly trained and educated technical staff dedicated to exceptional pharmaceutical services. We are committed to growth and proud to be based in Michigan. It is an honor to be recognized as a new leader in life sciences in our state and we appreciate the support of our customers, employees and investors.”

Mr. Ross added “Since GRAM opened its doors in January 2011, we have invested a significant amount of capital in people and very specialized cleanroom equipment and technology. After obtaining FDA approval in August 2013, we have expanded our customer base, offered additional capabilities and achieved higher revenue each year. We expect to continue this growth in future years.”
